Find the first people to try your product

Akoe is for founders with a product and no users yet: it finds about 20 people who posted on Hacker News in the last two weeks about the problem the product solves, each shown with that post and a way to reach them, free during the beta and then $1 a person.

How it works

1
Paste your site.Akoe reads it and writes two sentences: who it’s for, and the problem it solves. Fix the problem sentence if it’s off; every post is judged against it.
2
Every post is sorted. Each Show HN and Ask HN post from the last 14 days, one at a time, by how close its author is to your problem: asking for something like your product, has the problem, active in your space, or just your kind of user.
3
Take your first 20.From the top level down, each with their post, a reply on their thread while it’s open, and an email when they published one themselves.
4
Write to them yourself. One at a time, saying you built it. Akoe checks for new posts every day and emails you once a week when someone new is waiting.

Posting guidelines

Hacker News

Write every reply yourself: Hacker News doesn’t allow AI-written or AI-edited comments, and its readers flag replies that read as an ad. Reply once to each person, answer what they asked, then say you built it, without a link. Post a few a day at most, spaced out, never several in a row.

Who it’s for

Founders and solo builders with something people can try today, whose users post on Hacker News: developers, founders, indie builders and makers. You want your first users or your first feedback, and you’d rather ask the right 20 people than buy ads.

Who it’s not for

What it costs

Free during the beta. After it, your first batch stays free, then $1 for each person you can reach. Never twice, never someone you can’t reach.
